Title: Director of Creative Services
Location: Fully remote, work from home
Type: Full-time, exempt
Salary range: $58,000 - $64,000

College Sports Communicators (CSC) seeks a talented and motivated professional to join its national staff as Director of Creative Services.
The successful candidate will support communications and promotional efforts of CSC, a leader in communications and college sports, by creating engaging digital, social, print and other content that will drive engagement and elevate the CSC national association brand, its members, and the Academic All-America® program.
This position will report to the Executive Director as part of the CSC national staff.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate on strategic planning, development and execution of a comprehensive cross-platform content strategy for CSC's year-round programming, the CSC Unite annual convention, and the Academic All-America® program.
  • Develop and manage CSC's comprehensive content calendar.
  • Oversee all CSC social media accounts and engagement efforts, providing strategy, execution and analytics.
  • Manage day-to-day website updates, content posting, and design.
  • Coordinate in-house video production and freelance creative support as needed.
  • Develop and execute CSC Unite convention content plan and coverage
  • Assist with convention operations and logistics.
  • Coordinate promotional strategies for awards, committees, and programs.
  • Produce and distribute consistent association management content to the CSC membership.
  • Serve as staff liaison to select CSC committees and divisional cabinets.
  • Participate in regular staff, committee and Executive Board meetings.
  • Assist the organization's President and Executive Director with messaging to CSC membership.
  • Represent the association in a professional manner at various internal and external functions and in working with internal and external constituencies including, but not limited to, the CSC Executive Board of Directors, the membership and corporate partners.
  • Other duties as assigned including, but not limited to, event planning, operations support, and association management.

  • A team player with a demonstrated ability to establish relationships and bring existing connections to build out a diverse professional development program for the organization and its membership.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, and assess multi-faceted programs and events.

  • Highly organized and able to efficiently handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.

  • Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Acrobat and InDesign).
  • Being a technologically minded professional is a big plus.

Required Travel
  • CSC national staff are required to travel to attend in-person events throughout the year including hosting the CSC Unite convention each June. Examples of other possible events include the NCAA Convention, CSC meetings, convention site visits and other college athletics events.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: A bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of four years of full-time professional experience working on a college athletics campus, conference office, or in an association setting similar to CSC.
