Job description

Position Overview:
As the Director of Supply Chain - Global Apparel, you will lead the end-to-end global supply chain supporting multiple apparel brands, including 509, Klim, and Polaris, from our Apparel Center of Excellence in Rigby, ID. You will oversee planning, production, logistics, and distribution operations while ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectations. In this role, you will build and develop a high-performing team, drive operational excellence, and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery. You will work cross-functionally to ensure products are delivered on time and meet established standards. This role offers the opportunity to influence global operations, shape supply chain strategy, and drive measurable impact across a multi-brand apparel business.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage global supply chain operations across demand and supply planning, production, logistics, and distribution functions.
  • Direct a team of approximately 7 direct reports and an overall organization of approximately 40 team members.
  • Build and develop a high-performing, service-oriented, and cost-conscious team that consistently meets or exceeds performance targets.
  • Identify and execute strategic initiatives that support long-term business objectives and supply chain effectiveness.
  • Work cross-functionally to make and deliver high-quality products that meet customers' expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Develop team members through coaching, mentorship, and performance management while building a strong succession pipeline.
  • Foster an inclusive and engaged team environment that minimizes operational risk and strengthens organizational capability.
  • Partner with key Polaris resources to leverage best-in-class practices.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering and post-sales teams to maintain product safety and quality standards, including rework processes.
  • Contribute as a member of the Apparel Leadership Team to support organizational goals, collaboration, and accountability.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in the apparel or related industry, with progressively broader responsibilities across supply chain, product development, sales, or similar functions.
  • 10+ years of experience leading teams within a cross-functional environment, along with experience leading leaders.
  • Experience managing complex global supply chain operations from planning through execution
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to inform decisions and improve supply chain performance.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%, including international travel.
  • Current U.S. passport or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
  • Must be local to the Rigby, ID, area, or willing to relocate. Hybrid work structure: Tues, Weds, and Thurs are required in-office days.
