The Details:
In-Office Requirements: This role requires up to 10% presence at our Downtown Seattle headquarters. Standard business hours Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Remote Work Eligibility: For employees residing outside of the Seattle metropolitan area, remote work may be considered in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, ID, FL, OR, TN, VA, or WA. Final approval is determined through a management review process.

About the Position:Reporting to the Director of Learning Technology and Data, the Manager of Learning Technology will be responsible for leading the Learning Technology Team to analyze, select, implement and integrate the necessary learning technologies to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Benefits Group learning programs and products. This role focuses on owning the learning technology strategy, program development and life cycle program management to meet the organization's strategic objectives as well as the needs of end-users, managing stakeholder relations, providing supervision to the Learning Technology team and developing the team's skills, tools and resources needed to provide value to the organization. The successful candidate will have a background in continuous process improvement, IT project management, effectively developing a new team and thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
You Will:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive learning technology strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned with organizational priorities, caregiver needs and business objectives;
  • Serve as the product owner for the learning technology ecosystem, overseeing technology evaluation, selection, implementation, optimization and lifecycle management while continuously assessing emerging technologies, industry trends and vendor roadmaps to improve the learning experience and business outcomes;
  • Lead, coach and develop the Learning Technology team by establishing clear goals, priorities and performance expectations while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability and continuous improvement;
  • Manage team capacity, workload, delivery and resource allocation through effective planning and prioritization to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives and operational commitments;
  • Demonstrate flexibility, sound judgment and independent decision-making in support of program outcomes within a fast-paced, evolving environment;
  • Build and maintain lasting partnerships with internal stakeholders, technology teams and external partners to identify business needs, drive process improvements, gain alignment on priorities and support adoption of learning technology solutions;
  • Maintain visibility into strategic initiatives, roadmap progress and organizational impacts through ongoing stakeholder communications and executive engagement;
  • Lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives involving multiple workstreams, including content, data, user experience, systems integration, reporting, communications and change management;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies by partnering with internal stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors;
  • Oversee the design, integration, optimization and governance of learning platforms, content management systems, data stores and enterprise applications to ensure a scalable, connected and well-managed learning technology ecosystem;
  • Manage vendor and third-party partner relationships, including implementation activities, issue resolution, performance monitoring and ongoing platform enhancements;
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), adoption metrics and operational measures to evaluate the effectiveness, utilization and business impact of learning technologies;
  • Analyze data, prepare reports and deliver presentations that provide actionable insights, program status updates and strategic recommendations to senior and executive leadership;
  • From time-to-time, perform other duties commensurate with the level of this position.

  • 5+ years of experience in technology product development, including stakeholder requirements analysis, business needs translation, learning technology solution design and implementation, system integrations, vendor management, product roadmap development and technology lifecycle planning;
  • 3+ years' experience of management experience including leading teams, coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing teams as well as managing competing priorities and projects effectively;
  • leading cross-functional initiatives involving business, technology, data and operational stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated with Agile delivery methodologies for backlogs, sprint planning and iterative product development and expertise in program planning, prioritization, execution and cross-functional team leadership;
  • Proven ability to facilitate collaboration and drive solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary business and technology challenges;
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate actionable insights, measure operational effectiveness and proactively identify and mitigate risks;
  • Exeptional communication and visual presentation skills, including the development and delivery of executive-level reports, dashboards, scorecards and presentations.

It Will Be Great if You Have:
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems(LMS) administration;
  • Experience in creating a new team or growing an existing team;
  • Proficiency with web authoring and LMS technologies, such as Docebo;
  • Aptitude for learning new software applications and technologies;
  • Fluency in standard program and project management tools (e.g., Excel, Visio, Smartsheet, Trello);
  • Non-profit experience or education sector experience;
  • Training program implementation experience.

Salary Range:
  • $105,758.76 to $ 141,560.88
