Job description

About Us:

Applecart is the leading technology company that C-suites rely on to reach business-critical decision makers. The most important decisions are made by the hardest people to reach and influence. Historically, C-suite leaders have lacked the tools to reach the stakeholders who matter most to their business. The C-suites of hundreds of Fortune 500 companies, major agencies, trade associations, nonprofits, and governments use Applecart to put their best content in front of business-critical decision makers and those they trust —  from policymakers and investors to CEOs, key employees, members of the media and more. Decision makers are informed by what they read, learn from advisors, hear from colleagues, and discuss with family and friends. To break through to them, you must reach them through the only channel that really moves them: those they know and trust. Applecart's platform uses publicly available data to map billions of social relationships between nearly every American adult and enable clients to deliver content directly to decision makers and those who matter most to them.

We are hiring a Learning & Development Manager in our New York office.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for owning Applecart's enterprise-wide learning programs, including onboarding, our enterprise education series, and our learning management system (LMS), ensuring every employee has access to high-quality, scalable learning experiences. In this position, you will work with HR, IT, and Business Development, along with cross-functional partners across the organization. This role will report to the Director of Learning & Development.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the LMS end to end, including vendor relationship management, day-to-day administration, and strategic integration into the broader employee experience
  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve enterprise-wide onboarding programming for new hires across the organization
  • Own the design and ongoing maintenance of our enterprise education series, helping every employee understand who we are and what we do
  • Serve as the L&D representative in cross-functional conversations related to knowledge management, partnering closely with other teams
  • Build learning content in-house, supplemented by curation from internal and external resources when appropriate
  • Manage multiple concurrent enterprise-wide programs on parallel timelines
  • Measure and report on program engagement and effectiveness at an organizational level

Experiences and Capabilities You Bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with a generalist background across program types
  • Demonstrated experience owning enterprise-wide programming, including onboarding and company-wide learning initiatives
  • Instructional design experience, with a portfolio built for broad, varied audiences
  • Experience working with an LMS, including vendor management, administration, and strategic integration
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to run multiple concurrent programs
  • Familiarity with measurement frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick)
  • Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast paced, evolving environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail and superior organizational skills

This is a hybrid role. Work from home on Monday and Friday and in Applecart's New York City office Tuesday through Thursday.

Compensation:

Our compensation package consists of three components: (i) a base salary, (ii) annual cash bonus, and (iii) generous equity compensation.

The base salary range for this role is between $105,000-125,000, based on the candidate's experience and skills relative to the requirements listed above. The salary range provided is exclusive of discretionary annual cash bonus and equity compensation.
