Position Description:

Delivers vision, technology roadmaps, and innovative product enhancements while driving continuous development. Leads a team to create scalable financial services platforms. Coordinates dependencies with internal and external (vendor) teams. Manages Information Technology (IT) risks and issues on schedule, dependencies, resource capacity, and scope from product teams. Facilitates Quarterly Planning Sessions across all teams and coordinateslogisticsof events with Squad and Product Leads. Maintains high-level install timelines for larger, complex initiatives, and communicates changes as applicable across squads.Facilitates'scrum of scrum'events with Scrum Masters andholdssynchevents with Product Managers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Works with teams to deliver incrementalobjectivesand ensure technology strategies and execution alignment.

  • Escalates and tracks technical impedimentsimpactingIT programs.

  • Facilitates coordination, intake, and sequences of technical solutions across teams.

  • Reviews project plans to plan and coordinate projectactivity.

  • Assigns and reviews the work of Systems Analysts, Programmers, and other computer-related workers.

  • Prepares and reviews operational reports or project progress reports.

  • Consults with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.

  • Meets with department heads, managers, supervisors, and vendors tosolicitcooperation and resolve problems.

  • Evaluates the organization's technology use and needs and recommends improvements -- hardware and software upgrades.

  • Prepares and reviews operational reports or project progress reports.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Full Stack Engineering (or a closely related occupation) delivering Mid-tier 401k based technology offerings to financial clients using agile working models, using tools -- Tableau and flow metrics, Jira,JiraAlign, Portfolio, Microsoft Excel and Miro.

Or, alternatively,Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Full Stack Engineering (or a closely related occupation) delivering Mid-tier 401k based technology offerings to financial clients using agile working models, using tools -- Tableau and flow metrics, Jira,JiraAlign, Portfolio, Microsoft Excel and Miro.

  • Demonstrated Expertise ("DE")processing technical deliverables across the 401k Defined Contributions (DC) and Mid-Tier Micro services domain -- planning, prioritizing, and delivering of scalable middleware consumer applications built using Java, C#.net and Jenkins to clients and vendors.

  • DEin product management of retirement income solutions suite of products focusing on annuity purchase and lifetime income distribution domain by leading the strategy and planning of MVP, building short term-long term roadmaps,managestakeholders and client trust and relationship,manageexternal/internal dependencies using tools -- Tableau and flow metrics, Jira,JiraAlign, Portfolio, Microsoft Excel and Mural.

  • DEin production support - building retirement income production support engagement and service models to aid business and system support for triaging, resolving, and providing root cause analysis to vendors/clients using Insurers, plan specific API provisioning with Single Sign On (SSO)/Authorization approach, and Audit support.

  • DEin portfolio / program management of retirement income solutions multiyear, complex initiatives in supervising Organizational KPIs and Technology Key Performance Indicators, and readying results for business management routines, including QBR (quarterly business reviews), QTR (tech reviews), monthly governance, prioritization, strategic planning, DevOps practices, implementing complex operational and technical payment processing procedure, and creating strategies for IT project improvements in quality, productivity, testing, and automation using selenium and SoapUI in an agile environment using Scrum, Kanban and hybrid methodologies.
