Learn how to run an insurance agency from the inside out all while earning a paycheck of over $85K annually!

Denver District Headquarters of Farmers Insurance wants you to be our Insurance Protege Agent within Castle Rock, CO, and the rest of the greater Denver area!

Our agents and district staff are the driving forces behind this accomplishment. As a Farmers Insurance Sales Agent, you will be part of a team that is helping to grow the revenue of the agency by offering products that people need for their security and peace of mind.

You will be taught and mentored by some of the top agents in the Castle Rock, CO and the rest of the state of Colorado, and have the opportunity to work alongside them! You will be trained in sales, marketing, insurance knowledge, customer service, staffing, among others, to fully understand the daily operations of an insurance agency.

Basically, you will be provided the tools needed to grow and build a successful insurance agency!
 

Job Description:

  • Sell our products and services
  • Solicit new prospects
  • Assist existing clients as necessary
  • Network within your community - attending networking events, sales conferences, and trade shows to market your business and target your preferred audience
  • Provide excellent customer service to policyholders
  • Educate customers on their options

Because of the support and growth that's offered within this role, it would be suitable for individuals with a background in sales, sales representative, sales executive, sales associate, sales assistant, sales advisor, sales team leader, sales consultant, sales director, insurance sales, insurance representative, insurance rep, outbound sales, lead generation, field sales, regional sales, territory sales or similar. 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • An associate degree or bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills are required
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Trustworthy, dependable, reliable, and ethical
  • Quick learner with confidence and friendly nature
  • Ability to work independently and take constructive criticism from mentors

A Property & Casualty, Life & Health insurance license is required. However, if you do not have these licenses, we will pay for and help you obtain them! Our overall success is based on our team's success, so our district provides continuous training, coaching, mentorship to help you succeed!

Additional Information

Compensation:

  • $35,000 annually plus commission
  • $4,000 Protege Program Graduate Bonus
  • Opportunity to make uncapped commissions that may go as high as $60K or more in a year
