Job Summary and Qualifications

​The Director of Clinical informatics (DCI) supports high quality, patient-centered care through leading the successful development, coordination,implementation,support, andongoing analysisof clinical informatics initiatives. Under the direction of the Division VP, the DCI will participate in the community of Clinical Informatics by working withdivision andfacility leadership to ensure clinical applications are well supported throughout theassignedfacility(ies).​

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Required 
  • ​Degree in health-related field, Preferred 
  • Master's Degree, Preferred  
  • 3+ years applicable experience, Required 
  • 5+ years applicable experience, Preferred 
  • Experience with MEDITECH or other EHR systems, Preferred 
  • Experience in implementation of technology, Preferred 
  • Currently licensed as a registeredhealth professionalin the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation, Required 
  • ​Healthcare Informatics Certification, Required or within 6 months of hire
