Role Overview

The Senior Sales Director is a high-impact, client-facing leader responsible for driving profitable growth across Sodexo's Healthcare segment. This role is built for a strategic, consultative seller who excels at navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, building trust with Csuite stakeholders, and shaping long-term partnerships that deliver measurable value.

You will own the full sales lifecycle-from identifying new opportunities to designing integrated solutions, negotiating multi-year agreements, and influencing client outcomes. Success is defined by quota attainment, new business acquisition, cross-selling, and the ability to translate client challenges into tailored, enterprise-level solutions.

This position is remote with approximately 50% travel, and the ideal candidate will reside near a major metropolitan airport to support national client engagement.

If you are energized by strategic selling, financial rigor, and the opportunity to transform healthcare environments through Sodexo's integrated service portfolio, this role is for you.

Incentives
Comprehensive benefit package, uncapped variable compensation, vehicle allowance, remote home office with travel opportunities.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, solution design, proposals, pricing, and contract negotiation.

  • Identify and pursue strategic new business and horizontal growth opportunities.

  • Build trusted relationships with Clevel executives and deliver value-based, customized solutions.

  • Conduct ROI and financial analyses to strengthen business cases.

  • Support retention and rebid efforts in partnership with operations and segment leadership.

  • Navigate a highly matrixed organization to align integrated solutions and protect financial outcomes.

  • Maintain a disciplined Salesforce pipeline and contribute to accurate forecasting.

  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform strategy and solution development.

What We Offer

Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education, and training. Sodexo offers a comprehensive benefits package that may include:

  • Medical, Dental, Vision Care and Wellness Programs
  • 401(k) Plan with Matching Contributions
  • Paid Time Off and Company Holidays
  • Career Growth Opportunities and Tuition Reimbursement

More extensive information is provided to new employees upon hire.

What You Bring
  • 10+ years in enterprise sales or business development.
  • Experience in healthcare, integrated facilities management, clinical support services, or related industries.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and enterprise CRM best practices.

  • Proven success leading complex, multi-year sales cycles.

  • Strong financial acumen and contract negotiation experience.

  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

  • Executive presence, consultative selling skills, and a client-centric mindset.
