Job description
Accelecom is currently seeking a full-time exempt Sr. Banking Account Director responsible for selling into the Banking vertical across Georgia (GA). We are looking for people who share our passion for success through a consultative selling approach, a focus on superior customer service, and helping solve problems centric to the banking vertical. As a Sales Professional, this position will be responsible for identifying and developing new business while managing existing accounts across the Banking Vertical; to include National, Regional, local, as well as Credit Unions and IT/System Integrators that operate in the banking vertical. The successful candidate will be expected to deeply understand our customers' business, develop & execute sales strategies, craft unique solutions, and secure customer contracts / orders.
Key Accountabilities:
Strategic Account Planning Experience:
• Formulation & execution of robust GTM & Account Plans
• Development & execution of account-centric Contact Plans
• Identification & execution of upsell & cross-sell strategies
Product Knowledge & Experience:
• Experience selling technical solutions into Georgia's Banking Industry
• Transport solutions (Dark Fiber, Wavelengths & Ethernet)
• IP solutions (IP Transit, DIA & DDoS)
• Managed Services Solutions (Mng Firewall/Router/WiFi & SD-WAN)
• Wireless technology (Wifi, mesh, Private 5G (DAS))
• Voice Solutions (UCaaS & CCaaS)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Demonstratable rolodex/relationships within Georgia Banking Ecoystem
• Been a member of the Georgia Banking Association (GBA) or CBA
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Mkt'ing or related field
• Industry Experience (Telecom or Technology: Minimum of 5-years
• Sales experience: Minimum of 5-years
• Mindset: Hunter mindset / role (vs. Business Development or Account Mgt)
• Strong analytical & technical skills
• Strong interpersonal & communications skills
• Strong relationship development skills
• Ability to thrive in "start-up" environment / operate in the "grey"
• Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables & meet deadlines

• Existing relationships across the Top 10 GA Hospital Systems
• Minimum of 3 year selling into GA-centric Behavioral Health Operators
• Existing relationships across the Top 3 GA Behavioral Health Operators
• Minimum of 3 year selling into GA-centric Banking IT/System Integrators
• Knowledge of BANT, TAS and/or the Challenger Sales methodologies
• Prior experience w/ Salesforce and Zoom Information
Work Environment:
• Remote/Hybrid work environment - considered candidate will reside in the state of Georgia
• Occasional office visits for training and team meetings
• Will require occasional travel (in support of Client meetings)
