The Role

We're seeking an exceptional Marketing Creative Director to establish and elevate Maximus as the definitive brand in performance medicine. This is a pivotal leadership role that will shape how millions perceive and engage with human optimization. You'll build and lead our creative vision while architecting systems that deliver breakthrough creative at the speed of innovation.

Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Leadership & Strategy
  • Define and evolve Maximus's visual identity across all touchpoints, ensuring our brand reflects our position at the intersection of science, technology, and human potential

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive brand standards that scale across digital, physical, and emerging platforms

  • Create and continuously refine our brand book, establishing it as the north star for all creative expression

  • Partner with executive leadership to translate business objectives into compelling creative strategies

Creative Operations & Velocity
  • Build and optimize a high-velocity creative asset generation engine capable of producing premium content at scale

  • Implement systems and workflows that balance creative excellence with the demands of a fast-growing performance medicine company

  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure creative impact and continuously improve output quality and efficiency

  • Drive adoption of emerging creative technologies and AI tools to accelerate production without compromising quality

Team Building & Management
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a world-class creative team including designers, copywriters, motion designers, and production specialists

  • Foster a culture of creative excellence, experimentation, and accountability

  • Develop clear career paths and growth opportunities for team members

  • Balance in-house capabilities with strategic external partnerships and agencies

Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Growth teams to ensure creative amplifies business objectives

  • Partner with the clinical and science teams to translate complex medical concepts into accessible, engaging content

  • Work with Technology teams to ensure seamless creative implementation across digital platforms

  • Support Sales and Partnership teams with materials that accelerate business development

Creative Excellence
  • Oversee all creative output including campaigns, digital experiences, product design elements, environmental design, and content creation

  • Ensure every creative touchpoint reinforces Maximus's position as the premium leader in performance medicine

  • Champion innovative approaches that differentiate Maximus in a crowded wellness landscape

  • Maintain hands-on involvement in flagship projects while effectively delegating and empowering the team

Qualifications & Skills
  • 8+ years of creative leadership experience, with at least 3 years building and managing creative teams

  • Proven track record of building brands in health, wellness, technology, or premium consumer sectors

  • Deep expertise in brand development, visual systems, and multi-channel creative execution

  • Experience building high-performance creative operations that balance quality with velocity

  • Portfolio demonstrating breakthrough creative work that drives measurable business results

  • Strong understanding of digital-first creative and emerging platforms

  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to present to and influence C-level stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or related field (MFA or advanced degree preferred)

Compensation Range: $150K - $210K
