Job description

Overview
The Senior Director of Product Management will define and lead the creation of differentiated data products that do not exist in the marketplace, solving complex client problems in new and innovative ways. This role owns the product vision and data roadmap for emerging data capabilities, identifying unmet client needs and translating them into scalable, market-leading products. The role works directly with data vendors and internal teams to shape how data is sourced, structured, and productized to support clearly defined client and sales use cases. Deep technical fluency is required to write detailed requirements for data ingestion and design products that can support analytics, activation, and decisioning at scale. This leader maintains a comprehensive understanding of Epsilon's data assets and products to develop forward-looking data strategies that enable differentiated client pitches. They are expected to take on Epsilon's largest and most complex clients, designing end-to-end solutions that leverage and extend Epsilon's platforms in novel ways. As a people leader, this role builds and mentors a high-performing product team while setting strategic direction and execution standards. Success in this role requires the ability to operate in ambiguity, invent new product paths, and balance immediate client needs with long-term product innovation.
Responsibilities
  • Own the product vision and multi - year data roadmap for Epsilon data capabilities, aligning investments to client demand, sales strategy, and long - term platform scalability.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of product managers, setting clear expectations, driving accountability, and ensuring strong product discovery, execution, and stakeholder communication.
  • Translate complex client business problems into product strategy, defining how Epsilon data and products should evolve to meet the needs of large, sophisticated clients.
  • Define and prioritize product requirements for data ingestion, structure, and usability, ensuring data is designed to support downstream analytics, activation, and client use cases.
  • Partner directly with data vendors and internal data partnerships teams to shape requirements, evaluate fit, and ensure data quality and structure meet product and client standards.
  • Serve as a senior product leader in sales and client engagements, developing data strategy narratives and solution plans that enable differentiated, problem - led pitches.
  • Drive cross - functional alignment across sales, engineering, analytics, legal, and compliance to ensure product decisions are feasible, scalable, and compliant.
  • Influence executive - level decision - making by identifying recurring client needs, market gaps, and opportunities to expand or enhance Epsilon's data and product offerings.
  • Balance near - term client commitments with long - term product strategy, making clear trade - offs to protect platform health and product integrity.

Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in product management, data products, or platform product roles, with demonstrated ownership of complex, enterprise - scale products.
  • Proven experience building net - new data or platform products, including taking products from ambiguous problem space through strategy, roadmap, and delivery.
  • Strong people leadership experience, including hiring, developing, and leading senior product managers and setting product execution standards across a team.
  • Deep understanding of data concepts, including data sourcing, structure, ingestion, transformation, quality, and downstream usage for analytics and activation.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and own a data and product roadmap, balancing long - term platform strategy with near - term client and commercial needs.
  • Experience working directly with third - party data vendors or partners to define requirements, evaluate data fit, and productize external data assets.
  • Strong technical fluency with the ability to write clear, detailed product and data requirements that engineering and data teams can execute against.
  • Experience partnering closely with sales and client teams to translate client business problems into differentiated product solutions and data strategies.
  • Comfort operating at the executive level, including leading complex client conversations, influencing senior stakeholders, and making high - impact tradeoff decisions.
  • Ability to operate effectively in highly ambiguous environments, bringing structure, clarity, and direction where no clear market precedent exists.

Compensation Range: USD $132,800.00 - USD $246,600.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
