Job description

We're a growing team, and as we scale, so does our need to focus on expanding our Customer Success team. You'll be joining a people-focused company, and as an Enterprise Customer Success Manager (CSM) you will own a focused portfolio of complex, high-value customer relationships. This role is about helping enterprise customers realize measurable value from Vendavo by building strong relationships, running a disciplined engagement cadence, and connecting customer goals to clear success plans. You will work across business units, geographies, and stakeholder groups to drive adoption, manage risk, support renewals, and identify opportunities for growth. Success in this role comes from combining customer advocacy, business insight, and operational rigor to help customers achieve their desired outcomes with Vendavo.
THE OPPORTUNITY
  • Own gross and net retention across a focused portfolio of complex enterprise accounts, building account strategies that support renewal, adoption, and long-term growth.
  • Develop and maintain success plans for each account that define customer goals, value drivers, key initiatives, stakeholders, and measurable outcomes.
  • Run a structured cadence of engagement across each account, including regular business reviews, stakeholder check-ins, adoption discussions, and executive touchpoints.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer executives, decision-makers, and day-to-day champions across business units, geographies, and functions.
  • Use customer health signals, product usage, value realization data, satisfaction feedback, and account context to identify risks, opportunities, and next-best actions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Support, Services, Sales, and leadership teams to resolve customer issues, remove barriers, and keep internal stakeholders aligned on account priorities.
  • Represent customer requirements, feedback, and business context to Vendavo product and services teams so customer needs are clearly understood and acted on.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to identify expansion opportunities based on customer maturity, business priorities, adoption patterns, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with Vendavo subject matter experts to drive adoption of existing capabilities, introduce new solutions, and help customers continue to increase the value they receive from Vendavo.
  • Other duties as assigned.

THE SKILL SET
  • 7+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Consulting, or a related customer-facing role, including ownership of retention and renewal outcomes for enterprise accounts.
  • Proven experience managing large enterprise customer relationships, including organizations with complex stakeholder groups, multiple business units, and global or regional operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage customer success plans, account plans, or value realization plans that connect Vendavo's solutions to customer business outcomes.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with experience engaging customer executives, decision-makers, operational leaders, and day-to-day business owners.
  • Experience navigating customer escalations, renewal cycles, adoption challenges, and competing stakeholder priorities.
  • Ability to use data to identify trends, communicate insights, track progress, and guide customer conversations around retention, adoption, and expansion.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, customer adoption, renewal management, and value realization.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Prefer familiarity with pricing, CPQ, or CDM solutions.
  • Prefer experience with pricing, quoting, rebate, or analytics solutions in a B2B environment, and the ability to articulate their value and integration into business processes.
  • Understanding of commercial processes such as quote-to-cash, list pricing, and dynamic pricing.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Challenger or MEDDPICC.
  • Understanding of project governance principles as they relate to complex software implementations.
  • Understanding of how business systems interact through integration and data transformation.
  • Willingness to learn Vendavo's business processes and technical use cases.

THE BENEFITS
  • Flexibility to work from home or in the office, depending on what works best for you
  • Unlimited PTO for vacation, sick and mental health days-we encourage everyone to take vacation during the year to ensure dedicated time to spend with loved ones, explore, rest and recharge
  • 4 recharge days, where the entire company goes on a brief pause in all geographies for 1 day each quarter. This day can be spent in whatever way helps you recharge, to regain energy, and dive back into the next workday
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave with health benefits for all parents, plus flexible re-entry schedules for returning to work
  • $110 a month to cover your cell phone and internet expenses
  • High-end laptop (Windows or Mac)
  • Competitive pay and bonus/commission
  • Comprehensive health, detail, vision, and mental benefit options (PPO, FSA, HSA)
  • 401k plan with a 3% employer non-election contribution
