We help clients tackle complex challenges across accounting, financial reporting, transactions, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation. We blend deep technical expertise with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to help the world’s leading companies move forward with confidence. We are actively expanding our Digital Assets practice and seeking experienced leaders ready to drive strategic growth and deliver exceptional client outcomes across the rapidly evolving digital asset ecosystem.

We are seeking a Director to lead complex accounting advisory engagements for digital asset companies across a variety of growth stages, including venture-backed, high-growth, pre-IPO, and public companies. Directors serve as trusted advisors to executive stakeholders, oversee large-scale client engagements, develop long-term client relationships, drive business development, and help shape the continued growth of the Digital Assets practice.

What you might expect:

  • Serve as the engagement leader for complex digital asset accounting advisory engagements, including audit readiness, technical accounting, finance transformation, IPO readiness, SEC reporting, and transaction support.

  • Lead engagements involving crypto trading activity, fragmented wallet and exchange data, digital asset reconciliations, accounting remediation, and finance function transformation.
  • Advise clients on standing up finance functions, rebuilding accounting records, implementing scalable close and reporting processes, and establishing audit-ready documentation.
  • Oversee financial and regulatory reporting deliverables, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, S-1, S-4, and audit support activities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across finance, operations, technology, legal, tax, and external audit to deliver successful client outcomes.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and implementation of scalable accounting, reporting, and internal control processes.
  • Drive business development through proposal leadership, client expansion opportunities, strategic account management, networking, thought leadership, and market-facing activities.
  • Mentor Senior Managers and Managers while contributing to recruiting, performance management, methodology development, and overall practice growth.

What you must have:

  • 10+ years of experience in Big 4 audit, accounting advisory, capital markets advisory, transaction advisory, and/or corporate accounting and finance, including a minimum of 2 years of experience at a Big 4 firm (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC).
  • Experience leading complex accounting advisory engagements involving audit readiness, technical accounting, finance transformation, IPO readiness, SEC reporting, transaction support, and/or public company reporting.
  • Experience serving as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders while leading multiple client engagements within a consulting, advisory, or public accounting environment.

What sets you apart:

  • Experience supporting digital asset, cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, broker-dealer, investment management, or other high-volume transaction businesses.
  • Experience advising clients on digital asset accounting, crypto transaction accounting, wallet and exchange reconciliations, accounting remediation, or finance function build-outs.
  • Experience leading SEC reporting engagements, IPO readiness, capital markets transactions, audit coordination, or public company financial reporting.
  • Experience applying U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and technical accounting guidance related to complex transactions and emerging business models.
  • Experience leading finance transformation initiatives, accounting process improvements, ERP implementations, or operational accounting transformations.
  • Experience building executive client relationships while driving business development, proposal leadership, strategic account management, or practice growth.
  • Experience mentoring Senior Managers and Managers while contributing to recruiting, performance management, methodology development, and leadership development.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across accounting, finance, operations, technology, tax, legal, and external audit.

Nice to have:

  • CPA license.
  • Experience with digital asset accounting platforms, blockchain analytics tools, ERP systems, or financial reporting technologies.
  • Experience supporting publicly traded digital asset companies or companies preparing for IPO.
  • Experience with emerging regulatory guidance impacting digital assets and cryptocurrency accounting.

Who thrives here:
