Job description

As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes and technologies that drive modern organizations. Since 2011, our mission hasn't changed - we're here to stop breaches, and we've redefined modern security with the world's most advanced AI-native platform. We work on large scale distributed systems, processing almost 3 trillion events per day and this traffic is growing daily. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We're proud to work for a mission-driven company leveraging AI to transform the way we work. CrowdStrikers drive their careers through flexibility and autonomy while also being expected to contribute to a culture of responsible AI adoption, experimentation, and innovation. We use an AI-first mindset as a force multiplier to proactively and continuously accelerate execution, build expertise, uncover insights, and solve complex problems. We're always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.
About the Role:
CrowdStrike at its core is a platform company and the endpoint protection platform organization is responsible for sensor, cloud, UI technologies and a UX design language. Everything we build is designed to infinitely scale, the endpoint protection platform is responsible for ingesting and processing in near real-time over 1 trillion customer security events daily, in multiple cloud regions across the globe.
Our Endpoint Protection Platform is used internally by Product Groups to build their security products but we also release products direct to customers such as: Falcon Fusion, ThreatGraph, FDR and APIs. Over time we intend to release more of our endpoint protection platform to partners and customers to ultimately deliver an App Platform where third-party security products are running completely on the CrowdStrike endpoint protection platform.
As the cybersecurity landscape evolves, our endpoint protection platform must stay ahead of the most sophisticated adversaries - integrating AI-native capabilities and extending our industry-leading endpoint protection across the full extended detection and response (XDR) ecosystem. This role sits at the center of that evolution, owning the endpoint protection platform product vision at the most senior level and serving as a key executive voice in shaping CrowdStrike's long-term product strategy.
So if you're ready to work on unrivaled technology where your desire to be part of a collaborative team is met with a laser-focused mission to stop breaches and protect people globally, let's talk.
What You'll Do:
Executive Endpoint Protection Platform Vision & Strategy
  • Own and define the executive-level product vision and multi-year roadmap for CrowdStrike's Endpoint Protection Platform - setting strategic direction that anticipates market evolution, adversary sophistication, and customer needs across the EPP and XDR landscape
  • Serve as the executive voice of the endpoint protection platform in C-suite, board-level, and key customer conversations - articulating endpoint protection platform strategy, competitive differentiation, and long-term vision with clarity and conviction
  • Align the endpoint protection platform vision with overall company goals and the broader Falcon ecosystem - ensuring the endpoint protection platform serves as the definitive foundation for CrowdStrike's EPP, XDR, and AI-native security capabilities
  • Shape CrowdStrike's position in the market through thought leadership, analyst engagement, and executive customer relationships - representing the endpoint protection platform at RSA, Black Hat, Gartner Security Summit, and equivalent forums
  • Drive competitive strategy across the EPP and XDR landscape - maintaining executive-level intelligence on competitors including Microsoft, SentinelOne, and Palo Alto Networks - and translating that intelligence into endpoint protection platform differentiation and roadmap decisions

AI-Native Product Strategy
  • Own the AI product strategy for the endpoint protection platform at the executive level - defining how AI and machine learning capabilities are embedded into the endpoint protection platform to enhance detection efficacy, automate response workflows, and reduce analyst workload across the Falcon ecosystem
  • Set the strategic direction for AI-native endpoint protection platform development - including shared AI/ML infrastructure, model pipelines, and agentic workflow capabilities that EPP and XDR product groups leverage at scale
  • Establish the executive framework for responsible AI product development - including governance standards, performance measurement, and explainability requirements for security-critical AI outputs
  • Stay at the forefront of AI developments in cybersecurity - bringing a forward-looking executive perspective on how large language models, agentic systems, and AI-driven automation will reshape the endpoint protection platform landscape

EPP & XDR Executive Ownership
  • Serve as the executive product leader who deeply understands endpoint protection at a strategic level - including prevention, behavioral detection, threat intelligence integration, and response - and ensures the endpoint protection platform delivers the infrastructure these capabilities require at global scale
  • Own the executive roadmap for endpoint protection platform capabilities that enable XDR - including cross-domain telemetry ingestion, correlation engines, unified investigation workflows, and third-party integration frameworks
  • Drive the strategic evolution of CrowdStrike's endpoint protection platform toward an open App Platform - defining the partner ecosystem strategy, third-party integration model, and endpoint protection platform extensibility vision that positions CrowdStrike as the definitive security platform of record
  • Represent the endpoint protection platform's strategic role in the broader XDR ecosystem to customers, partners, and analysts - building executive-level relationships that inform roadmap and accelerate market leadership

Executive Leadership & Organizational Development
  • Lead, develop, and grow a high-performing organization of senior product managers and product directors - setting the executive standard for technical depth, customer empathy, strategic thinking, and execution rigor
  • Build and sustain a product management culture defined by accountability, innovation, and customer obsession - attracting and retaining world-class product talent
  • Own executive-level cross-functional alignment - partnering with C-suite and senior leaders across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Threat Intelligence, and Customer Success to drive endpoint protection platform strategy and execution
  • Partner with Product Marketing at the executive level to define endpoint protection platform positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy - ensuring the endpoint protection platform's value is clearly articulated to customers, analysts, and the market
  • Own annual budget planning and resource allocation for the endpoint protection platform product organization

What You'll Need
  • 18+ years in Product Management with a demonstrated track record of executive product leadership at scale in enterprise software or cybersecurity - with a minimum of 10+ years focused specifically on endpoint security, EPP, or EDR/XDR product domains
  • Endpoint Protection (EPP) experience is required - candidates must have direct, hands-on executive product ownership of a commercially shipped EPP product, with deep strategic and technical understanding across:
    • Prevention engines - signature-based, ML-based, and behavioral prevention at scale across Windows, macOS, and Linux
