HyperX Peripherals Product Insights Manager

Description -

Product Insights Manager

HyperX is looking for a research and consumer insights pro who loves digging into the "why" behind purchase decisions, product trends, and marketplace dynamics. This person will lead primary and secondary research efforts and turn them into insights the business can actually act on. The role spans all product categories, so you'll need to work well across teams and across regions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business managers, product managers (software and hardware), UX, and marketing to shape research that answers real strategic questions and drives data informed decisions

  • Work closely with product management to build a research roadmap that feeds directly into future product ideation

  • Own a broad range of custom primary research studies, from methodology design through final analysis and reporting

  • Present findings and translate quant and qual data into recommendations teams can understand and act on

  • Explore and define audience segments to identify what actually triggers consideration for HyperX

  • Track product and gaming trends, and flag strategic technology developments across the industry

  • Think ahead: proactively recommend research the business needs rather than only responding to requests

  • Present directly to senior leadership, marketing, and business teams with research backed intelligence

  • Manage and direct outside research partners

Requirements

  • 5+ years in consumer or market research, either at a research firm or client side, ideally in entertainment, consumer tech, or media

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in psychology, economics, business, marketing, statistics, or a related field

  • Strong background running custom research end to end

  • Solid quantitative and analytical chops

  • Familiarity with gaming, the competitive landscape, and peripherals

  • Skilled at finding the story and the actionable insight inside the data

  • Self-starter who can drive projects independently or by tapping internal resources

  • Experience presenting to and communicating with executives

  • A knack for telling a compelling story with data

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with survey tools or CX platforms (Qualtrics, Sprinklr, etc.)

  • Research experience in other regions

  • Experience managing overseas team

  • Familiarity with platforms gamers use to communicate, like Discord or Reddit

The pay range for this role is$105,050to$161,800USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
