SC State University's Speech, Pathology, and Audiology Department is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor. The selected candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Neurogenic communication disorders, Research, Adult Language, and Diagnostics; supervise student clinical practicum; advise undergraduate and graduate students; and contribute to the accomplishment of Program and College goals(strategic plan).
Minimum Requirements for Entry into Position:
Ph.D. or Ed.D. preferred. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Sciences and Disorders, and a South Carolina License/eligibility for Licensure by the Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology.
Preferred Requirements for Entry into Position:
Preference is given to an individual with a background in teaching and providing services to culturally diverse populations. Experience
with the provision of Speech-Language services for clients across the lifespan and experience and /or a strong interest in student-led research.
The position is Unclassified Full-Time Exempt Position Compensation based on Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
