Overview
As a Director of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating our AWS business, shaping strategic opportunities, strengthening alliance relationships, and translating innovation into tangible commercial impact.
This role sits at the heart of our growth agenda, combining alliance leadership, go-to-market strategy, and revenue generation. You will work closely with AWS, senior client stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define and execute a joint growth strategy that positions Publicis Sapient as a leading partner across the AWS ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Your Impact:
  • Drive and exceed revenue targets through proactive sales outreach and co-selling activities
  • Develop pipeline of new logo opportunities leveraging AWS's market position and PS capabilities
  • Collaborate with client partners and industry BD sellers to identify, qualify and close new business
  • Lead client sales presentations, articulating clear value propositions
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships
  • Lead joint account plans with AWS teams across industries
  • Navigate AWS partner programs including MAP
  • Build relationships with AWS account teams
  • Drive leads through AWS partner portal, ensuring proper opportunity registration
  • Position PS's AWS capabilities, particularly in generative AI and cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Serve in both client and partner facing role
  • Develop strategic plans to target and close net-new logos
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting of co-sell opportunities

Qualifications
Your Skills & Experiences:
Required:
  • 10+ years in business development, partner sales or consulting within cloud hyperscalers ecosystem
  • Strong hunter mentality with proven ability to generate new business
  • Experience selling cloud infrastructure and services
  • Experience with AWS AI/ML services (Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker)
  • Demonstrated collaboration with client partners/industry teams
  • Deep understanding of AWS partner programs and co-selling processes
  • Strong executive presence across PS and AWS organizations

Preferred:
  • Experience selling in Financial Services industry is preferred.
  • Experience with AWS funding programs, particularly AI/ML Innovation
  • Experience selling/implementing generative AI solutions on AWS
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
  • Ability to travel to AWS and client location.

This role requires sales expertise, AWS knowledge, cloud infrastructure experience, and generative AI understanding to drive new logo acquisition in the evolving AI and cloud landscape.
Additional information
Pay Range: $180,000 - $240,000
The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
