Must be able to pass a 2G single bevel plate test on carbon steel (MIG stringer and fluxcore fill and cap) to be considered.
Box Header Welder Trainee learns to fit, layout, and weld industrial steel header boxes used in manufacturing air coolers and heat exchangers. Trainees are primarily responsible for reading blueprints, operating fabrication tools, prepping metal, and assisting certified welders while mastering MIG and Flux-core welding.

Key Responsibilities
    • Fabrication Duties: Learn plate fitting, layout, and accurate material measurement.
    • Welding Techniques: Practice welding fundamentals, specifically MIG stringer and Flux-core fill and cap procedures.
    • Equipment Prep: Operate basic fabrication equipment like grinders, saws, and measuring tools.
    • Quality Assurance: Assist in visual inspections and learn to adhere to strict ASME and AWS welding standards.
      • Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean work environment and follow all industrial safety protocols.
        Common Qualifications & Requirements

        • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
