The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering - Principal Engineer is a key role within our organization, responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in advanced manufacturing processes for Engines & Power Systems products / programs / Turbomachinery / Power Generation. As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Principal, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced manufacturing strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies. With your extensive knowledge and experience, you will contribute to the advancement of our manufacturing capabilities and help us maintain our position as a global technology leader.
You will report directly to our Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and you'll work out of our Phoenix AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will make an impact with your technical expertise in advanced manufacturing processes will drive innovation and continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations. By developing and implementing advanced manufacturing strategies and leading cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the advancement of our manufacturing capabilities. Your ability to drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies will help us stay at the forefront of the industry and maintain our position as a global technology leader. Responsibilities

  • Provide program guidance and technical leadership to a team of assigned Manufacturing Engineers in execution of complex new product introduction development programs.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in advanced manufacturing processes
  • Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies to drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Lead cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing operations and enhance productivity
  • Identify and evaluate cutting edge technologies for adoption in manufacturing processes

  • Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in advanced manufacturing

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Experience with Engines & Power Systems products / Turbomachinery / Power Generation
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred)
  • Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization
  • Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing
  • Proven track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement in manufacturing operations
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Significant relevant experience in engineering and manufacturing companies within the aerospace, defense, and or automotive industries.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to interface and communicate effectively with executive level leadership.
  • Ability to work and lead effectively in cross-functional environment.
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
