Job Title: Area Relief Direct Support Professional (AR DSP)
Location: Clatskanie, OR
Pay Rate: $25.50/hour + $1,000 Hiring Bonus
Full-Time Schedule | Must Be Flexible to Work Across Multiple Locations
Community Access Services is hiring an Area Relief Direct Support Professional (AR DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across multiple residential programs.
As an AR DSP, you will be assigned where coverage is needed most across our programs. This role requires flexibility to work at different locations and adjust to varying support environments.
Your reliability and adaptability help ensure uninterrupted, high-quality care for the individuals we serve.
What You’ll Do as an Area Relief Direct Support Professional

  • Build meaningful, person-centered relationships that support independence, dignity, and personal choice
  • Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal care, and household routines
  • Support individuals with community participation, recreation, appointments, and personal goals
  • Encourage skill development, confidence, and social connections
  • Follow individualized support plans (training provided)
  • Administer medications safely and maintain accurate documentation
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
  • Advocate for the needs and preferences of the individuals you support
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in a direct care role and working with individuals with disabilities required
  • Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements to become a company driver
  • Ability to pass a national background check
  • Strong reliability and willingness to work across multiple locations as needed
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs
