Dining Room Supervisor - Join Our Big-Hearted Team

Your Mission: To assist manager to coordinate all service and personnel related to the dining room. Supervise and train all dining room employees. Maintain a positive and initiative-taking culture in the dining services department. To interact with residents during their meal to ensure high quality of food and customer service.

Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday, 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all personnel and service related to the dining room
  • Supervise and train all dining room employees in correct serving, sanitation, attitude, and rapport with residents.
  • Addresses all resident concerns regarding problems in the dining room and accommodates them
  • accordingly.
  • Maintains a constant presence in the dining room to assure all residents that you care and are aware of what is going on.
  • Assists Dining Room Manager with hiring and training of all dining room personnel.
  • Coordinates room service and to-go orders for residents.
  • Maintains all appropriate records.
  • Conducts daily pre-meal meetings with staff.
  • Keeps Dining Room Manager informed of all dining and kitchen activities.
  • Works with special events coordinator to promote and staff special functions and events.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of computers.
  • Ability to build professional rapport with employees.
  • Previous experience in dining services.
  • Previous supervisory experience-Preferred.
  • Current Food Handlers Card and CPR certification required
  • Currently has, or has the ability to obtain, a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
