As a Dimensional Modeling Engineer, you will design and implement scalable star schemas that enable trusted, intuitive analytics across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience with dimensional modeling experience including SCD type 2, exceptional SQL skills, experience with healthcare data, and a passion to help others derive insights from well-organized data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Dimensional Modeling

  • Define dimensions and facts for enterprise analytics use cases
  • Design and implement physical dimensional models
  • Apply Slowly Changing Dimension strategies and conformance principles
  • Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and analytics engineers
  • Ensure clarity, performance, and long-term maintainability of analytical structures

Solution Orientation

  • Partner with business and analytics customers to understand their requirements and design data solutions to meet their needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product owners, analysts, architects, and external partners to deliver new data solutions and enhancements.
  • Translate business and clinical requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
