How you'll contribute
A Receptionist who excels in this role:

  • Manages incoming calls, supports administrative staff, and maintains a professional front-facing presence for the hospital.
  • Plays a key role in supporting the smooth flow of communication and daily operations within the facility.
  • Answers and transfers incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Assists coworkers with preparing documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows-based systems.
  • Provides administrative support to the leadership team for various projects and tasks.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor and appearance when interacting with board members, medical staff, visitors, and the community.
  • Stays organized and carries out responsibilities independently, exercising sound judgment and analytical thinking.
  • Demonstrates a positive, team-oriented attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Works independently and uses downtime productively.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Schedule: PRN (as needed), role floats between Chandler and Gilbert locations

This position does not have a set weekly schedule. You'll be called in to work when extra help is needed-such as covering for someone, handling busy periods, or filling gaps in the schedule. Hours can vary from week to week, and there's no guaranteed hours.
 

Wage: $15/hour (sorry, this is currently non-negotiable)

What we're looking for 

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role preferred; student experience in higher education considered.
  • Skills: Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications. Customer service experience or aptitude required to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and the public.
