Job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Digital Transformation Group within a dynamic banking environment. This role plays a critical part in advancing strategic initiatives that modernize operations, enhance data capabilities, and drive innovation across the organization.
This position reports directly to the SVP, Digital Transformation and requires a high degree of professionalism, accountability, and independent execution. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and capable of managing priorities in a fast-paced environment while supporting senior leadership initiatives.
The role will initially be performed in a remote capacity, with a preference for candidates located in or near the Orange County area, as the position is expected to evolve to include regular in-office presence over time.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support enterprise digital transformation initiatives across multiple business units
  • Assist in executing strategic priorities and initiatives driven by senior leadership
  • Assess and monitor project status, identifying risks, gaps, and potential issues, and escalating as appropriate
  • Apply a risk-based approach to all assignments, ensuring alignment with regulatory, operational, and business expectations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate current processes and recommend improvements
  • Serve as a liaison between divisions to ensure alignment, communication, and execution of priorities
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and insights using Power BI
  • Support the organization's transition from Tableau to Power BI, including knowledge transfer and reporting enhancements
  • Work with and support data warehouse environments for reporting and analytics
  • Contribute to exploratory initiatives involving AI and automation tools
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail and quality
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and shifting business needs

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM or related field is preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated skills in programming, data analytics, or a related technical discipline (academic or professional experience welcomed)
  • Experience with data warehouses and data structures
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard creation and data visualization
  • Experience with Tableau is a strong plus
  • Exposure to or working knowledge of AI, automation, or advanced analytics tools
  • Familiarity with project lifecycle concepts, business analysis, and reporting
