Brown & Brown is seeking a Head of Digital Distribution to join our growing team. This role can be located in one of our hub locations in Atlanta, Nashville, or Daytona Beach.

The Head of Digital Distribution is responsible for defining and leading the strategy, design, and delivery of digital products that enable the online distribution of insurance and low-touch servicing of clients.

This role is accountable for building scalable, customer-centric digital journeys that drive new business growth, improve conversion, and reduce servicing cost-to-serve. The individual will lead a team of product managers and work cross-functionally with sales, broking, engineering, data, and operations to deliver end-to-end digital experiences across the insurance lifecycle.

How you Will Contribute:

  • Define and execute the digital product strategy for online distribution, embedded insurance, and customer self-service

  • Drive a shift from broker-led to hybrid and digital-first distribution models where relevant

  • Own end-to-end digital sales funnels, from acquisition through quote, bind, and onboarding

  • Drive improvements in conversion rates through UX optimization, pricing transparency, and journey simplification

  • Leverage data and experimentation (A/B testing) to continuously optimize performance

  • Develop and scale digital servicing capabilities (e.g., policy changes, renewals, claims FNOL, document access)

  • Reduce manual intervention and cost-to-serve through automation and intuitive customer journeys

  • Ensure seamless integration between digital and broker-assisted channels

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle (discovery, design, build, launch, iterate)

  • Define and prioritize product roadmaps aligned to commercial outcomes

  • Work closely with engineering and design teams using agile methodologies

  • Enable integration with carrier APIs, digital trading platforms, and third-party ecosystems

  • Support embedded insurance and partnership-led distribution models

  • Ensure products are scalable, modular, and aligned to enterprise architecture

  • Embed data, analytics, and customer insights into all product decisions

  • Define and track product KPIs (conversion, CAC, retention, NPS, cost-to-serve)

  • Partner with data science and BI teams to enable personalization and intelligent journeys

  • Champion customer-centric design and best-in-class digital experiences

  • Ensure journeys are simple, intuitive, and aligned to customer needs across segments

  • Balance regulatory requirements with seamless user experience

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of digital product managers

Skills and Experience to be Successful:

  • 12+ years in digital product management, with significant leadership experience

  • Proven track record of building and scaling digital products for online sales & self-service

  • Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation and commercial outcomes

  • Deep understanding of digital product lifecycle and agile delivery methodologies

  • Experience with digital distribution models (direct-to-consumer, embedded, platform-based)

  • Familiarity with API ecosystems, digital trading platforms, and modern architectures

  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and conversion optimization techniques

  • Experience in the insurance industry, including risk, and regulatory considerations preferred.
