As Digital R&D Reporting GenAI / GenBI Product Owner within our Digital team, you will be ready to shape the future of medicine. In this role, you'll drive the technical backbone of next-generation R&D Reporting platform, focusing on Generative AI and GenBI (Generative Business Intelligence) capabilities that provide relevant answers to business questions.
You'll be transforming R&D reporting capabilities by democratizing access to data and insights through GenAI / GenBI implementation. The successful candidate will help reduce time spent sourcing, preparing, and analyzing information while enabling a broader set of users to leverage data effectively. By implementing innovative GenAI / GenBI solutions, this position will directly contribute to overcoming current tool limitations and establishing next-generation reporting capabilities that enhance decision-making across R&D.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the GenAI / GenBI product development process, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes through regular releases
  • Collaborate closely with R&D business stakeholders to develop a clear vision, ensuring the GenAI / GenBI solutions evolve with R&D business needs and drive high maturity
  • Develop a detailed and executable product delivery plan and timeline across design, build, and run activities; lead the product through governance requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand R&D business needs, gather requirements, establish user stories, and define product features; Manage backlog refinement and drive features prioritization effort
  • Communicate effectively across non-technical stakeholders, technical stakeholders, and engineering teams to ensure the delivery of outcomes aligned to R&D business needs and value delivery
  • Define, monitor, and analyze business and performance related product-level KPIs, reporting outcomes to team leadership and key collaborators
  • Manage technology vendor relationships and partnership strategies
  • Manage and keep up to date the allocated budget for the product development
  • Lead evaluation and implementation of GenAI/GenBI technologies (NL2SQL, agentic visualization)
  • Drive semantic layer development and data model optimization for AI applications
  • Lead proof-of-concept development and technical feasibility studies
  • Coordinate platform scalability, security, and performance requirements

About you:
  • Bachelor's degree required in any technical field. Master's Degree and or PhD is nice to have.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management with AI/ML or data platform technologies
  • Good understanding of cloud platforms, data architecture, and GenAI/GenBI technologies and semantic layer development implementations
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Proven ability to evaluate, select, and implement complex technical solutions
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions that drive value

Nice to have:
  • Pharmaceutical R&D or life sciences data environments
  • Data visualization frameworks and business intelligence platforms
  • Multi-agent architectures and implementation
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
  • Knowledge of infrastructure, i.e., data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse)
  • Experience with API architecture, design, and management
  • Familiarity with machine learning implementations, NL2SQL technologies, RAG, and graph RAG
