Job description

Job title: Digital R&D Strategy and Operations Analyst

  • Location: Morristown, NJ

About the job

The Digital R&D Strategy & Operations Analyst will support the execution of governance, portfolio operations, financial tracking and meeting administration across two Digital R&D areas: Clinical Development and Pipeline & Project Analytics teams.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, structured, proactive, and comfortable working across business, digital, finance, procurement, and product teams. The role requires someone who can help turn strategic priorities into organized plans, track decisions and actions, prepare governance & administrative materials, and keep complex work moving in a fast-paced global environment.

The analyst will support driving operational discipline across digital product portfolios, governance forums, budget planning cycles, vendor/procurement activities, and cross-functional initiatives.

Join the digital engine driving Sanofi's transformation - where AI, automation, and bold experimentation power faster science and smarter decisions. Here, you'll help build the first biopharma company powered by AI at scale.

About Sanofi

Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people's lives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Portfolio Operations Support

  • Support the maintenance of Digital R&D strategy materials, operating plans, portfolio views, and roadmap documentation.

  • Help organize and track priority initiatives across teams, including milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and follow-up actions.

  • Support the consolidation of inputs from Product Line Owners, program leads, finance, procurement, and business stakeholders.

  • Help ensure portfolio information is clear, current, and consistently structured across teams.

  • Work across teams to ensure key reporting systems are up-to-date, consolidate meeting materials, decision logs, action trackers, and follow-up communications.

Performance, Value, Communication & Execution Tracking

  • Support the tracking of business value, delivery progress, milestones, operational performance and budget across priority initiatives.

  • Help collect and organize inputs related to value delivery, sequencing, business cases, KPIs, OKRs, and adoption indicators. Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or missing inputs in budget, resource, and procurement documentation.

  • Assist in preparing summary views that communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and value realization to leadership.

  • Support follow-up on action items to ensure commitments are completed and progress is visible.

  • Draft and organize clear, concise communications, meeting summaries and portfolio reports.

  • Support internal communications related to portfolio progress, operating model updates, governance, and transformation activities.

  • This role may involve working with data, but the primary focus is operational coordination, portfolio discipline, and governance support, not hands-on analytics or dashboard development.

General Operations Support

  • Coordinate meetings, manage agendas, capture meeting notes, document decisions, and follow up on commitments.

  • Maintain organized trackers, repositories, templates, and operating documents.

  • Support ad hoc operational projects, analysis, and problem-solving as needed.

  • Help coordinate meetings and events for key Digital R&D sessions
