JOB SUMMARY

This role will be hybrid f you live within 50 miles of an office you are required to be onsite 3 days a week (T, W, Th). Remote outside of 50 miles.

This role will be the driving force behind our digital product strategy and execution. Incumbent will lead our digital product management teams to define, develop, and deliver innovative digital solutions that meet customer needs, align with business objectives, and drive significant value. This role demands a digital product leader with a strong customer focus, a passion for digital innovation, and proven leadership abilities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.

  • Product Planning & Execution: Oversee digital product delivery activity, from ideation and concept validation to launch and ongoing optimization. Ensure products are aligned with customer needs, market demands, and technical capabilities.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including technology, marketing, sales, and customer service. Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Customer Focus: Deeply understand customer needs and behaviors through market research, data analysis, and direct customer interaction. Translate insights into actionable product requirements and design improvements

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement. Use data to inform product decisions and prioritize development efforts. Develop and implement strategies for product optimization, growth, and expansion.

  • Innovation & Experimentation: Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement. Encourage the team to explore new technologies, test new ideas, and iterate rapidly based on results.

  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring they align with Highmark's strategic objectives and quality standards.

  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 7 years of experience in Digital Product Management

  • 5 years of experience in Management or leadership role

  • 5 years of experience in Agile Software Development methodology

Preferred

  • 3 years of experience in Healthcare Industry

SKILLS

  • Excellent written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision with a high degree of organization and attention to detail; manage multiple simultaneous tasks, assignments, deadlines, and produce results, and be results-oriented team player who leads by example, holds self-accountable for performance, takes ownership, and champions all aspects product initiatives

  • Proven track record of defining project requirements and delivering successful projects on schedule

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, from planning to delivery

  • Ability to lead and influence others within a matrixed organization, and leads with a true sense of urgency with the ability to engage the workforce to do the right thing every time for our customers and clinicians; Leads with a customer and clinician-centric lens and advocates for a combined customer and clinician view in all interactions

  • Successfully partners through collaboration and sense of urgency regarding process implementation and improvement/optimization

  • Experience using sketches, flow diagrams, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, customer experience blueprints, and visual concepts

Pay Range Minimum:

$142,000.00

Pay Range Maximum:

$236,000.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
