SUMMARY OF OVERALL PURPOSE:
The Web & Digital Designer is responsible for designing, producing, and maintaining engaging digital experiences that support Give Kids The World's brand, communications, fundraising, and organizational initiatives. This role reports to the Brand & Creative Director and serves as the primary digital production resource for the Brand & Creative team. The Web & Digital Designer executes approved creative concepts across gktw.org, responsive HTML email communications, Classy fundraising pages, landing pages, social media graphics, digital advertising, and other digital experiences. With strong visual design skills, web production expertise, and sound creative judgment, the Web & Digital Designer consistently applies established brand standards, templates, and design systems to deliver engaging, accessible, and user-focused digital solutions This role embraces Adobe Creative Cloud's integrated AI-assisted features as productivity tools to improve workflow efficiency while maintaining human-led creative direction, originality, design quality, and brand integrity.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Web & Digital Design
  • Receive creative direction from the Brand & Creative Director and translate approved concepts into high-quality digital experiences.
  • Design, build, update, and maintain website content.
  • Design, code, test, and deploy responsive HTML email communications.
  • Design and maintain Classy fundraising pages and landing pages.
  • Create digital graphics for social media, digital advertising, and organizational campaigns.
  • Prepare and optimize digital assets for desktop and mobile devices.
  • Apply established brand standards, templates, and design systems across all digital touchpoints.
  • Maintain and organize digital assets, templates, and production files.
  • Ensure all work meets accessibility (WCAG) and UX best practices.

Digital Innovation & Optimization
  • Understand and interpret design briefs to determine requirements
  • Schedule projects and define budget constraints
  • Manage projects through the design, development and review phases, coordinating with other departments as needed
  • Order and oversee production of final products
  • Work with project management software
  • Evaluate Adobe Creative Cloud's integrated AI-assisted features and other evolving digital technologies that improve workflow efficiency
  • Recommend improvements to digital production workflows and user experience.
  • Perform quality assurance testing prior to launch.
  • Stay current with web design, responsive design, accessibility standards, and digital best practices.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and technology partners to support website enhancements and digital initiatives.

Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate with the Brand & Creative Director and cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with Communications, Development, and internal stakeholders throughout project execution.
  • Support creative concept development and production.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OUTSIDE NORMAL WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Ability to lift 25lbs
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required for events and campaigns.
  • Flexibility to work in outdoor or indoor event settings in varying weather conditions.

SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Excellent written, verbal and conceptual communication skills.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels by adjusting approaches to meet the needs of the audience.
  • Strong attention to detail to identify and analyze problems and apply creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive websites, HTML emails, landing pages, social media creative, and user-centered digital experiences.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud with a strong understanding of digital production workflows.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS sufficient to edit, troubleshoot, and deploy responsive web content and HTML email communications.
  • Experience creating, updating, and maintaining website content using a content management system (CMS).
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and WCAG accessibility guidelines.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud's integrated AI-assisted features as production tools to improve workflow efficiency while maintaining human-led creative direction, originality.
  • Ability to operate a motorized vehicle, including battery-operated golf cart.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must meet acceptable attendance and punctuality requirements, which are essential functions for the position.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Web Design, Interactive Design, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in web and digital design, including website content management, responsive HTML email development, and digital asset production

Preferred Requirements
  • Experience with Classy or similar fundraising platforms.
  • Experience with WordPress or another CMS.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms.
  • Experience designing for nonprofit organizations.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar reporting tools.
