Description

We are looking for a SEO Program Manager to lead content optimization strategy across Apple's digital ecosystem. You'll drive search-led programs end-to-end — from keyword research and content architecture to AI platform optimization — collaborating closely with Commercial Marketing, Merchandising, Product Marketing, and Marcom teams.

Responsibilities
  • Own and execute content optimization roadmaps across multiple product lines, establishing frameworks for complex, cross-functional challenges.
  • Develop data-driven content strategies that address user intent, search demand, and business objectives across Apple's digital properties.
  • Drive on-page optimization programs spanning metadata strategy, content structure, internal linking, and semantic optimization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate SEO into product launches, campaigns, and content initiatives at scale.
  • Lead end-to-end program management for SEO-led content initiatives with significant scope and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Conduct large-scale keyword research and content gap analyses across traditional search engines and AI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity).
  • Develop strategies to optimize content for AI-powered search, including entity and semantic optimization.
  • Create content briefs, guidelines, and documentation that enable cross-functional teams to produce search-friendly content at scale.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance using search analytics and user behavior data; translate insights into prioritized recommendations.
  • Train and mentor team members on content SEO best practices and emerging AI optimization strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with a clear focus on content optimization.
  • Has independently owned an SEO content roadmap for multiple product lines or business segments simultaneously.
  • Has conducted and delivered large-scale keyword research projects that directly informed content production or site architecture decisions.
  • Has presented SEO performance reports or strategy recommendations to senior stakeholders (Director level or above).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Has published or shipped content specifically targeting AI-powered search surfaces.
  • Experience working on a product or brand with global web presence, managing SEO across multiple markets, locales, or languages.
  • Experience working embedded within a product launch or campaign team, with SEO integrated from brief to publish.
  • Proficiency in SEO / AIO tools such as Google Search Console, Profound, seoClarity, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,700 and $225,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
