Job Summary:

The VP of Digital Ad Operations plays a key role in developing and implementing ad operations processes, requirements, and best practices. This role oversees the quality and execution of ad delivery on CCO's top revenue producing digital billboard platform across the Americas with an eye on the expansion and innovation of CCO's digital billboard capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Designs features and functions of CCO's digital toolset and manages prioritization of development and implementations.
  • Partners with the technology team and process owners in defining requirements and designing technical solutions.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, and develops a team of specialists who execute creative advertisements across the entire digital offering of media.
  • Interacts with advertisers and agencies to develop custom concepts or triage post sale.
  • Provides analytical and conceptual support for strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Manages digital ad serving systems and processes, monitoring performance, and resolving any service-related issues promptly.
  • Develops key performance metrics and tracking mechanisms required to measure media and product impact, team performance, and success of initiatives.
  • Communicates project status by creating and maintaining comprehensive project plans and providing regular updates on schedules, progress, risks, change impacts, results, etc.
  • Implements and maintains business needs to system adherence for SOX compliance.
  • Manages vendor partnerships through successful execution.
  • Provides industry leadership on topics like digital policy and products within the OAAA.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and Six Sigma certification preferred.

Work Experience

  • Minimum ten (10) years of related experience, preferably in media operations, project management, system development, or a similar field required.

Skills

  • Detailed knowledge of digital ad-serving and strong knowledge of programmatic advertising.
  • Fluency in one or more project management or process improvement methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or similar database software is preferred.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, or able to update charting.
  • Competent in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
