Overview

The 401 Group of Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Digital Operations Specialist to support the ongoing maintenance, performance, and optimization of our websites and related digital properties. Reporting into our marketing leadership, the successful candidate will combine hands-on website administration with digital execution work-ensuring our online presence remains accurate, functional, discoverable, and aligned with business goals.

This role works closely with our Digital Marketing Specialists to implement changes and support broader marketing initiatives. It is well suited to someone who is organized, technically capable, and comfortable managing a range of recurring responsibilities across multiple brands.


Location - 2200 Eagle St N, Cambridge ON


Department - Marketing


Reports to Director, Marketing


Salary - $55,000-$70,000 CAD



Key Responsibilities


Website Management

  • Implement and maintain website updates, content changes, and functional improvements.
  • Manage DNS configuration and records to ensure reliable site availability and performance.
  • Oversee content syndication across partner platforms, directories, and third-party channels.
  • Troubleshoot website issues and coordinate with vendors or internal teams as needed.

SEO Implementation Support

  • Implement on-page and technical SEO changes as directed by Digital Marketing Specialists.
  • Apply updates to page content, metadata, and site elements based on provided recommendations.
  • Assist in identifying and flagging technical SEO issues for the digital marketing team to address.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Specialists to ensure SEO changes are executed accurately and on schedule.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain regular reports on website traffic, SEO performance, lead activity, and other key metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

Lead Mapping & Management

  • Manage lead mapping processes to ensure inquiries are accurately captured, routed, and tracked.
  • Maintain the integrity of lead data flowing between the website and CRM or downstream systems.

Digital Asset Management

  • Coordinate, edit, and maintain employee photos and other digital assets for use across web properties.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience:
    Prior experience in web administration, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Working knowledge of content management systems, HTML/CSS basics, and DNS management.
    • Familiarity with SEO concepts and the ability to implement SEO changes accurately.
    • Proficiency with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) and reporting.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and lead management workflows.
    • Basic image editing skills.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with content syndication and third-party listing platforms.
    • Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
