Job Summary:
Title: Digital Department Coordinator
Location: New York, NY (In-office, 5 days a week)
The Role:
The Digital Department Coordinator is a key member of the Roc Nation digital team, supporting day-to-day operations across Data & Analytics, Roc Nation Distribution and Artist Management divisions.
This position is responsible for serving as the operational backbone of the digital department - keeping systems organized, workflows moving, and cross-functional communication running smoothly between teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-driven, and proactive.
You will collaborate closely with both the Distribution and Management digital teams, managing administrative processes, internal tooling, vendor and client logistics, and special projects that keep the department running efficiently. This is a high-volume, detail-driven role that requires strong organizational instincts and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
Responsibilities:
Department Operations & Administration
  • Manages shared department documents, trackers, and internal databases to ensure all information is current and accessible - including roster management, birthday and anniversary trackers, and weekly posting schedules
  • Coordinates meetings by developing itineraries, agendas, and follow-up action items across both the Distribution and Management digital teams
  • Liaises with internal Finance & Accounting teams to manage invoicing, billing, and billback processes for the digital department
  • Handles onboarding and off-boarding workflows for clients, ensuring access, documentation, and internal systems are properly set up or deactivated
  • Manages artist account access across social platforms, as well as Keeper management for secure credential storage
  • Processes content takedown requests and coordinates with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Submits and tracks creative requests for awards and other priority initiatives. Assists in executing website updates and with routine content maintenance across Roc Nation digital properties
  • Compiles and distributes weekly email newsletters
  • Assists with digital coverage and content capture at events as needed
  • Circulates promotional solicitations throughout the company and compiles submissions for partner opportunities

Project Management & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, monitoring progress, and making adjustments in real time
  • Prioritizes conflicting needs and handles matters expeditiously, proactively following through on projects to successful completion under deadline pressure
  • Coordinates coverage organization and logistics for events, releases, and priority moments across both divisions
  • Plans and executes team building initiatives
  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of related digital or administrative experience, ideally within entertainment, music, or agency environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Organization & Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to independently manage time and prioritize multiple tasks across two reporting lines
  • Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to navigate varying personalities and work styles with professionalism and tact
  • Problem-Solving: Quick thinker and adept problem-solver who can operate in a highly demanding environment and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Digital Fluency: Deep interest in social media platforms, industry trends, new technologies, and digital music services
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of audio, photo, and video editing programs
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and take initiative while remaining collaborative and accountable
  • Basic knowledge of marketing, branding, advertising, and promotions
  • Extensive knowledge of and passion for the music, sports, and entertainment industry

The expected compensation for this position is:
$60,000.00 USD - $75,000.00 USD
