Working at the heart of the music industry with more than 800 clients, including Beggars Group, Epitaph, Naxos, and Ninja Tune, FUGA is the world's leading full-service B2B music distributor.
FUGA works at the forefront of music distribution technology, connecting its clients with digital service providers like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and TikTok - while helping them get the most from their music, whether that's with award-nominated label services, industry-leading revenue accounting, or using FUGA's suite of best-in-class products.
We are currently looking to grow our Content Operations team with a new team member focused on quality assurance and metadata validation for digital music releases. This is an excellent position for someone looking to further their career in the music distribution and technology space with growth opportunities beyond that.
**Location: This role can be based in either Amsterdam or London**
What You Do
Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a global content operations team to ensure the quality and accuracy of digital music releases delivered to digital service providers (DSPs), including Spotify, Apple Music and other major platforms worldwide
  • Review, validate and quality-check metadata and digital assets - including audio files, artwork and release information - to ensure they meet internal standards and DSP-specific guidelines
  • Manage and resolve client content-related enquiries through internal ticketing systems, consistently meeting established service-level agreements (SLAs)
  • Lead the content evaluation process for new clients, providing guidance and recommendations to support successful distribution
  • Play a key role in Content Client Support, delivering timely and effective assistance to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Provide regional coverage and collaboration across EMEA markets to ensure consistent service delivery and operational excellence

Who You Are

  • Proven ability to thrive in agile, fast-paced working environments
  • Strong understanding of data-driven decision-making and performance measurement, with a working knowledge of SQL and database management
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to delivering accurate, high-quality work
  • Able to effectively prioritise tasks and maintain focus while managing multiple client-driven deadlines
  • Proficient in using Google Workspace (G Suite) or similar productivity tools to organise, streamline and prioritise workloads
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively across teams and stakeholders

What You'll Gain

  • Join a truly international organisation, working alongside colleagues and clients from diverse cultural, professional and musical backgrounds across the global music and technology sectors
  • Collaborate with teams across multiple territories and operating companies (OpCos), gaining exposure to a broad range of markets, perspectives and industry expertise
  • Work in a supportive and collaborative environment where ideas, feedback and continuous improvement are actively encouraged and valued
  • Partner closely with the Director of Content Operations, providing opportunities for mentorship, professional growth and exposure to strategic initiatives
  • Enjoy the flexibility of working from either FUGA's headquarters in Amsterdam or its London office as part of a globally connected team
  • Play a role in shaping how music reaches audiences worldwide, helping artists, labels and rights holders succeed in an evolving digital landscape
