Our dedicated team of managers, sales agents, and customer service representatives is committed to putting our customers first. Fedway Associates is seeking a Digital Merchandiser to join our team.

This role is at the forefront of our digital transformation, leveraging cutting-edge image software to revolutionize the way we capture and analyze retail shelf data in liquor stores.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage a designated account territory, fostering strong relationships with store managers and stakeholders.
  • Utilize advanced image software to capture high-quality shelf images in various liquor stores, ensuring comprehensive coverage of shelf, brand, and price data.
  • Analyze captured data to provide actionable insights on product placement, shelf space optimization, and pricing strategies.
  • Serve as the primary sales representative and main point of contact for underdeveloped onpremise accounts, driving growth through improved category mix, assortment, and portfolio development.
  • Leverage shelf data insights in these accounts to identify assortment gaps, product placement opportunities, and growth strategies.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align digital merchandising efforts with broader sales and promotional campaigns.
  • Continuously monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences within the territory.
  • Track progress and share reporting with sales leadership to ensure alignment with territory goals and Fedway’s broader initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and execution of digital merchandising strategies to enhance brand visibility and sales performance.
  • Support the Digital Specialists with ThirstyNJ by covering events, filming content, and assisting in the execution of social and digital activations.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and company guidelines regarding merchandising in the beverage alcohol sector.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in digital merchandising, retail analytics, or a similar role, preferably within the beverage alcohol industry.
  • Strong proficiency in image processing software and familiarity with retail data analysis tools.
  • Excellent territorial management skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word).
  • Familiarity with creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or Canva for content creation and editing.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business success

Training and Development:

  • Ongoing training in professional selling skills to strengthen account development and relationship building.
  • Exposure to marketing tools and data analysis techniques, with a focus on using Excel and other platforms to support decision-making.
  • Practical guidance in content creation and filming techniques to elevate ThirstyNJ event coverage and digital storytelling.
  • Continuous support in sales reporting and performance tracking, ensuring confidence in presenting data-driven insights to leadership.

Education, Certifications and /or licenses:

  • Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience (preferred but not required)
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required for this position

Physical Demands:

  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 25lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, and move about the office and market environments.

Compensation:

  • Salary starts at $46,000/annually commensurate with experience.
  • This position is eligible for a company car.
