Overview
Fanatics Betting & Gaming is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Buyer, Search (OSB & OC) to support paid search campaign execution, pacing, QA, and reporting across our Online Sportsbook and Casino businesses. This role will be responsible for assisting with campaign builds, keyword research, budget monitoring, performance analysis, and operational excellence across the search channel.
The ideal candidate is organized, analytically curious, technically comfortable, and eager to grow within performance marketing. This individual will support Senior Performance Managers across OSB and OC, collaborate with agency partners and platform teams, and help ensure search campaigns are accurate, timely, measurable, and compliant.
Responsibilities
  • Support paid search campaign setup, trafficking, QA, pacing, and optimization across Online Sportsbook and Online Casino initiatives.
  • Assist with keyword research, search query analysis, negative keyword maintenance, audience setup, ad copy trafficking, and landing page coordination.
  • Monitor daily and weekly pacing against budget, acquisition, revenue, efficiency, and payback targets, escalating risks and opportunities proactively.
  • Pull, organize, and interpret performance reporting from search platforms, analytics tools, and internal dashboards.
  • Prepare weekly performance summaries, test trackers, campaign notes, and competitive insights for senior channel managers.
  • Coordinate with agency partners to ensure campaign builds, optimizations, naming conventions, tracking parameters, and deadlines are completed accurately.
  • QA ad copy, destination URLs, promo messaging, state eligibility, responsible gaming language, and compliance approvals before launch.
  • Assist with testing roadmaps across ad copy, keyword expansion, bid strategies, landing pages, audiences, and platform betas.
  • Maintain documentation for campaign launches, optimizations, learnings, spend reconciliation, and recurring reporting processes.
  • Partner with Creative, Promotions, CRM, Analytics, Product, and Compliance teams to support timely and accurate campaign activation.
  • Track market launches, sports calendar moments, casino product moments, competitor messaging, and search trends to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Continuously develop platform expertise across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Apple Search Ads, and search reporting tools.

Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in paid search, performance marketing, digital media, marketing analytics, or a related role; internship experience will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Apple Search Ads, Google Analytics, Excel/Google Sheets, and reporting dashboards preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaign deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting performance data, identifying trends, and communicating clear takeaways.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across internal teams, agencies, and external partners.
  • Ability to follow QA processes, troubleshoot campaign issues, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Interest in sports betting, online casino, gaming, digital marketing, and customer acquisition preferred.
  • Detail oriented, deadline focused, observant, adaptable, and innovative.
  • Bachelor qualification in marketing, business, analytics, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Must be open to occasional travel to Fanatics Betting & Gaming offices in New York City and Denver as well as other locations for conferences, events
