Job description

Please note this is a TEMP position and not eligible for Benefits. Compensation will be Decided on Experience.

Position Purpose: The Learning and Experience Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative learning experiences that support employee growth, operational excellence, and departmental success across CMA. This role partners with department leaders to create customized learning pathways, training modules, onboarding programs, and technology-enabled learning platforms tailored to the unique needs of each business unit.

The Learning and Experience Designer serves as the organization's internal architect for employee learning experiences, ensuring training content is engaging, accessible, scalable, and aligned with strategic objectives. The position emphasizes instructional design, digital learning development, platform management, and continuous improvement of employee development programs.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

Design and develop department-specific training programs, learning pathways, and competency-based curriculum.

Build and maintain a centralized learning platform that houses training resources, courses, assessments, and knowledge libraries.

Develop e-learning courses, instructor-led training materials, job aids, videos, guides, presentations, and interactive learning content.

Partner with department leaders to identify skill gaps, operational training needs, and opportunities for workforce development.

Translate departmental procedures and business processes into effective learning experiences and training modules.

Implement and manage learning technologies, content management systems, and digital learning tools.

Analyze learner feedback and performance data to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and transform technical information into learner-friendly materials.

Maintain employee engagement log and ensure learning resources remain accurate, current, and accessible.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, learning and development,

training, organizational development, or related field.

Demonstrated experience designing learning programs, training curriculum, and

educational content.

Experience developing digital learning materials, e-learning courses, and instructional

resources.

Experience using learning management systems (LMS), SharePoint, knowledge

management platforms, or other learning technologies.

Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments and levels of the

organization.

Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational

Development, Learning Technologies, Human Resources, Business, Communications, or

related field.

Relevant certifications in instructional design, learning and development, e-learning

development, or training technologies are a plus.

Environmental Job Requirements

Dress Code: Professional Attire / Business Casual

Onsite Office Setting located at CMA Headquarters Monday through Friday

Physical demands involve processing, lifting, and moving incoming and outgoing boxes (25

to 30 pounds)

Lengthy periods of sitting, standing, bending, and stooping may be required

Limited travel may be required to support training delivery and departmental initiatives
