OUR NATIONAL CONVERSATION (OurNationalConversation.org, or ONC for short) is a nonpartisan political conversation site devoted to balanced and civil conversations designed to make America a better country.
Republicans, Democrats and Independents -all are all welcome at ONC.

We are largely powered by Gen Z students - America's future leaders - who produce articles, events, podcasts and more.

Job Description

We are looking for 1-2 humor/culture/meme digital editors. These individuals won't produce original content, but they will report on those who do. Each week we'll want you to write about, and provide links to, the best social
media posts, the best tit-for-tat exchanges, the best video clips and more. Political advertising is another viable topic. Keep us informed as to what's going on - it's hard to keep up!

This is an unpaid internship. Preference to those who may get college credit for working with us (we currently have some interns who received school approval for this opportunity).


Looking for a commitment of to 5-10 hours per week. We are completely remote and use Slack, Google Drive and Zoom to communicate. The Media & Marketing team holds weekly meetings on Tuesdays at 3:30pm PST. 

Qualifications

Basic experience with digital editing or reporting via social media, and you want to be part of a team of mission-focused people working hard to rebuild public trust in the media.
