Here are the abilities we seek out:

  • Create, execute, and manage digital marketing strategies to drive traffic and conversions on websites and landing pages
  • Test and improve performance to best suit client goals with a combination of PPC/paid search, paid social, retargeting, and display media campaigns
  • Work hand in hand with Account Managers & Digital Media leadership to come up with ideas, carry out plans, and then measure the results
  • Dig deep into the data to uncover trends/shifts in the landscape and potential opportunities to improve performance & ROI
  • Put different elements to the test – run trials on your ad creative, landing page designs, beta opportunities, new vendors and other campaign elements to maximize results
  • Identify and present new opportunities/areas of growth to clients that will improve their digital marketing ROI
  • Manage relationships with multiple vendors, working closely to improve budget and performance
  • Participate in client calls to discuss account performance, interpretation of data, and actionable plans based on findings
  • Give clients a more complete view of their digital activities by collaborating across channels with other teams and making sure they understand each component's role in the big picture of their digital footprint

Educational Requirements and Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, or Analytics or similar field or comparable work experience is required


Required Skills:

  • 1+ years of experience in managing pay-per-click (PPC)/search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns
  • Experience with paid search, paid social, display, or other digital media channels
  • Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, or related certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically for trend analysis using pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)


Preferred Skills:

  • Google Analytics, Facebook Blueprint, or related certification
  • Experience with 3rd party management tools, such as Marin, DoubleClick Search, or Kenshoo/Skai
  • Familiarity with HTML and JavaScript
  • An understanding of the Higher Education and Post-Secondary Education sector
