Job description

About the Role

Charlie Health is seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial communications associate to develop organic content for its primary social media channels and other owned channels as required. Day-to-day, the associate will own the company's organic social calendar, drafting and scheduling content to platforms and working with teams across the organization to amplify their work and reach new, influential audiences. They will also assist our content marketing associate in developing client, provider, and referrer stories across platforms.

More broadly, the associate will also have the chance to refine the organization's brand voice across channels, identify emerging platforms the organization may want to join, set ambitious benchmarks for success, and take the lead on managing major digital campaigns and initiatives. They will also help nourish and grow our online community, ensuring timely responses and interactions with audiences across platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Publish content daily across Charlie Health's core social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Facebook)
  • Communicate internally with stakeholders across the organization to assist them in elevating their work and initiatives to core digital audiences
  • Advise staff across the organization on best social media practices; enable key content creators to craft their own social media content
  • Help drive the conversation around major institutional initiatives and behavioral healthcare more broadly
  • Solicit stories from and interview clients, referrers, and providers to help shape the public narrative around Charlie Health's changemaking approach to behavioral health
  • Define the volume, cadence, and diversity of our social media messages, refining our social media content calendar 
  • Regularly report on performance, setting ambitious goals for audience and engagement growth
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience drafting social media content for a B2B or B2C brand
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to accurately and quickly draft expressive, thoughtful social media posts in line with our work and expertise
  • Fluency with a range of social media strategies and a proven track record for increasing followers and engagements for an organization or business
  • Experience producing professional-grade content for X, LinkedIn, and Facebook, with an understanding of the platforms' respective audiences and utility 
  • Superior interpersonal skills and experience partnering across an organization and with outside stakeholders
  • Knowledge of social media software (we currently use Sprout)
  • Basic experience with HTML and Photoshop

The total target base compensation for this role will be between $75,000 and $105,000 per year at the commencement of employment. In addition to base compensation, this role also offers a performance bonus. The expected total cash compensation range, including potential bonus, will be between $82,000 and $116,000 per year. Please note, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location, experience, expertise, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Further, cash compensation is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may include stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits. #LI-HYBRID
