Job description

The Channel Marketing Manager, Wholesale is a key leader in the continued transformation of the Doors business following acquisition and organizational change. This role helps shape future ways of working by translating strategy into execution within wholesale channel marketing, converting product and portfolio objectives into channel-ready priorities, and leading the team and partners responsible for execution.

Success in this role depends on strong cross-functional influence, customer insight, disciplined operating practices, and the ability to connect channel initiatives to measurable commercial outcomes.

POSITION PURPOSE
Translate leadership direction into actionable priorities, provide coaching and oversight, and drive organizational alignment. Delegate execution to direct reports, agencies, and functional partners while maintaining accountability for quality, timing, adoption, and business results.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Channel Strategy and Performance

  • Develop and lead the wholesale channel marketing strategy in alignment with Doors business, brand, product, sales, and growth priorities.
  • Translate product marketing positioning and portfolio priorities into clear channel narratives, launch requirements, enablement plans, and investment decisions for distributors and dealers.
  • Use market, customer, partner, and performance insights to prioritize audiences, programs, merchandising, and activation opportunities.
  • Establish objectives, KPIs, and review routines that connect channel investments to partner adoption, engagement, influence, and business impact, using results to improve future plans.
  • Provide strategic leadership for enterprise and wholesale programs, including dealer and partner initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Influence and align Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Category Management, Integrated Marketing, Digital, Customer Experience, Operations, Finance, and other cross-functional partners around channel priorities and requirements.
  • Serve as the voice of the channel during commercialization and planning processes, constructively challenging assumptions to improve customer relevance and business outcomes.
  • Lead agency and vendor relationships by defining strategy, scope, expectations, and performance standards while overseeing delivery and mitigating risks.
Customer and Partner Engagement
  • Build strong marketing relationships with key wholesale distributors, dealers, and sales leaders to understand customer needs, buying journeys, operational realities, and opportunities for mutual growth.
  • Guide "to-partner" and "through-partner" marketing strategies that help partners create demand, influence product selection, and win the sale.
  • Lead the strategic development of merchandising and showroom programs that strengthen brand presence, support the customer experience, and align with commercial objectives.
  • Use voice-of-customer insights and field feedback to continuously improve programs, tools, content, launches, and partner experiences.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Channel Marketing Specialist by establishing clear priorities, decision rights, performance expectations, and development plans.
  • Build team capability and accountability while ensuring work is assigned at the appropriate level and leaders remain focused on direction, oversight, and barrier removal.
  • Create clarity during organizational change and model collaborative, adaptable, and results-oriented ways of working.
Operational Excellence
  • Own the wholesale channel operating rhythm, including annual planning, prioritization, budget stewardship, resource allocation, status reporting, and risk management.
  • Ensure programs, campaigns, product launches, merchandising displays, and partner initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
  • Build and enhance repeatable processes, governance, measurement practices, and closed-loop learning that improve speed, consistency, and scalability.
  • Promote clear documentation, effective decision-making, and accountability across complex cross-functional workstreams.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Progressive B2B marketing experience with demonstrated responsibility for channel strategy, partner enablement, commercialization, or integrated marketing program leadership.
  • Experience leading people, developing talent, and directing work through others.
  • Proven ability to influence across functions and organizational levels without direct authority.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to connect customer and channel needs to commercial priorities.
  • Demonstrated project and program leadership across multiple stakeholders, priorities, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to operate with agility, sound judgment, and accountability in a changing environment.
  • Willingness to travel as business and customer needs require.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience within manufacturing, building products, dealer, distributor, wholesale, or other partner-channel environments.
  • Experience with merchandising, showrooms, partner programs, product launches, and "to-partner" and "through-partner" marketing.
  • Experience using analytics and performance measurement to evaluate adoption, business impact, and return on marketing investment.
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, and external partners.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or comparable project management training.

WORKPLACE FLEXIBILITY
This role may be based in Tampa, FL; Toledo, OH; or a remote work-from-home arrangement, subject to business needs and company approval. The position requires effective collaboration across locations and periodic travel for customer, partner, team, and business meetings as needed.
