Job description

A highly skilled and strategic Digital Marketing Manager who develops data-driven media scenarios to inform channel mix and budget allocation. In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of Digital Marketing and partner in media planning by translating data into actionable recommendations. Executing and optimizing multi-platform paid media campaigns to drive tune-in and audience engagement. You will leverage your expertise to create robust, strategic, multi-platform media buys, optimize campaign performance, manage budgets effectively, and mentor a team of digital marketing specialists.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)

  • Creates various scenario media plans leveraging data from past campaigns to inform strategies.
  • Execute comprehensive paid media buys across paid social, paid digital (youtube, programmatic), CTV etc, aligned with business goals across various verticals: Novelas, Sunday programming, Sports, Music Tentpoles, News and Daytime campaigns
  • Mentor a team of digital marketing specialists, providing guidance, performance feedback and QA media buys and optimizations of campaigns.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as creative, social, digital, research and analytics to ensure cohesive and effective digital marketing campaigns.
  • Utilize data-driven insights and analytical tools to monitor campaign performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Experience with tune-in study measurement via partners such as VideoAmp, Samba TV to name a few at measuring digital media buys effectiveness at driving tune-in
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies to support campaign execution and optimization.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to inform strategic planning and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience (4-6 years) in digital marketing with a focus on paid media, including hands-on experience with SEM, programmatic advertising (DV360), YouTube (Google ads) and social media advertising platforms: Meta ads manager, TikTok Ads manager etc.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing direct reports while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful paid media strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Flexibility: the desire and ability to pivot tactics in real-time.
  • A comprehensive understanding of integrated media planning and buying across all media channels (including paid social, devices and programmatic).
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in analyzing campaign performance data and making data-driven decisions
  • Strong agency and media partner management and senior relationship building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
