We're seeking an experienced Digital Asset Manager to join our high-volume photo studio team. This role owns the full asset lifecycle for approximately 1,750 digital assets per month, from shoot through final delivery, with a focus on consistency, quality, and on-time execution. Responsibilities also include basic photo editing support (resizing, color correction) and QC oversight of offshore post-production and AI studio teams.

Success in this role requires strong prioritization, deadline management, and proactive problem-solving. The ideal candidate is a collaborative partner to photo services, photo editors, and the sales organization, and comfortable adapting as daily responsibilities shift due to business needs.

Below is a general guide of what the position encompasses:

  • Oversee daily post-production operations and asset management workflows across the company's slate of brands and licensees
  • Actively manage the pipeline of assets in varying stages of production and postproduction with attention to deadline
  • Maintain organized asset libraries with accurate naming conventions across platforms, trackers, and storage systems, managing up to 1,750 files per month

Asset Quality Control

  • Review and validate that assets achieve retailer, marketing, packaging, and eCommerce specifications
  • Initiate and lead correction of assets by working with offshore postproduction teams, photo editors, or other needed resources
  • Assist with quality control checks prior to final asset release and distribution
  • Support troubleshooting of asset inconsistencies, file issues, and delivery concerns

Post-Production Training

  • Assist with image cropping and resizing during high-volume periods
  • Assist with GenAi rendering, as assigned

Cross-Functional Obligations

  • Own end-to-end coordination with offshore partner teams, including assigning work, fulfilling asset requests, resolving issues, and delivering eCommerce assets to retailers through their defined processes and portals
  • Proactively monitor and escalate project risks, blockers, and missing assets to relevant stakeholders
  • Provide timely status updates and workflow visibility to cross-functional collaborators
  • Follow established workflow standards, naming conventions, and approved technology platforms

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline communication, tracking, and asset delivery processes
  • Provide guidance, training, and workflow support to both internal and external 'requestors', people who are receiving our assets, to ensure a seamless experience

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in post-production, asset management, and/or creative operations, including high-volume environments (studio, start-up, or corporate)
  • Proven ability to manage large asset bundles (400+ files) and high-volume production timelines
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and DAM/PM tools such as Brandfolder and Asana
  • Previous leadership or team management experience preferred
