Fox TV Stations
FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Join Tampa Bay's top-rated news station and sell a best-in-class OTT platform alongside a high-performing broadcast sales team. WTVT FOX13 is seeking a Digital Account Executive with strong business development skills and a digital-first mindset to drive revenue across its growing streaming/OTT business. This Tampa-based role is focused on new business development and reports to the Local Sales Manager.
Candidates with experience in OTT, digital video, or streaming sales are highly preferred. Those with broader digital sales experience and a strong understanding of the digital landscape will also be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified clients for the Fox Local Extension (FLX) OTT platform
  • Generate new business through prospecting, research, outbound outreach, and inbound lead follow-up
  • Maintain a consistent presence in the field, building relationships and presenting the value of FLX in person and virtually
  • Become a product expert to support client conversations, internal collaboration, proposal development, and campaign reporting
  • Partner with the Research Director to create and refine custom presentations that highlight the value and performance of FLX
  • Maintain deep knowledge of competitive OTT platforms and clearly articulate FLX's differentiators
  • Manage and steward client campaigns, including weekly/monthly reporting, post-campaign recaps, and optimization recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Sales Manager on RFPs and presentations to ensure consistency and effectiveness
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Ad Operations, Creative Services, and Finance teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with 1-3 years of digital sales experience required
  • Experience in a high-volume, B2B sales environment with a strong focus on new business development
  • Proven "sales hunter" mentality with the ability to identify client needs and position solutions effectively
  • Experience in digital sales required, with exposure to digital video, OTT, or streaming platforms preferred
  • Experience managing a book of business and prioritizing workload in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Track record of success in a metrics-driven sales culture
  • Strong ability to build relationships, communicate technical concepts, and deliver compelling presentations
  • Established relationships within digital advertising or OTT/streaming is a plus
  • Experience in digital video advertising and/or with a digital agency or publisher preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and account management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Willingness to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Ability to travel locally for client meetings and business development activities
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record and reliable transportation

This role is also eligible for a sales incentive/commission compensation plan, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
