The career path to becoming a Digital Account Manager involves obtaining a bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or another related field. You'll need to be detail-oriented and well-versed in current marketing strategies as you'll be the liaison between a brand and the content creation team. You typically need to be familiar with social media marketing, SEO, pay-per-click advertising, and other marketing strategies. Other relevant skills you can hone include organization, communication, and problem-solving. Although the title says manager, the typical Digital Account Manager is not in a team leader role, so years of relevant experience may not be required to be considered for an open position.
