DIETICIAN TECH:
• Perform CBORD operation (Generate meal tickets for BPC and NYCCC clientele)
• Separate meal tickets by units.
• Highlight meal tickets for patients with special needs such as allergies and intolerances.
• Ordering of menu items.
• Generate and print reports for production staff.
• Participate in menu review, meal accuracy checks, and quality assurance activities.
• Ensure meals align with therapeutic diet orders and facility standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with departmental administrative tasks.
• May assist Dietitians with nutritional screenings and data collection.
• Support the implementation of nutrition care plans under Dietitian supervision.
• Monitor patient food intake, tolerance, and adherence to prescribed diets.
• Communicate patient concerns or changes in condition to the Dietitian or clinical team.
• Provide basic nutrition education to patients and families as delegated.
Qualifications:
• Associate degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
• Credentialed as a Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR/NDTR), or eligible.
• Experience in healthcare foodservice or clinical nutrition preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
