Is AI going to replace dietitians?

AI can assist dietitians by providing data analysis, meal planning tools, and personalized recommendations, but it is unlikely to fully replace the professional judgment, empathy, and personalized care that dietitians provide. Human dietitians are essential for interpreting complex health needs, offering counseling, and adapting plans to individual preferences. AI tools are designed to support, not replace, the expertise of qualified dietitians in delivering effective nutritional care.
