Job description

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, quality-driven BOBST Die-Cutting Operator to run our BOBST 76 and/or BOBST Expert Cut 106 presses. In this role, you will be a critical part of our production team, responsible for executing precise make-readies, maintaining top-tier production speeds, minimizing waste, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Shift Options:

  • Graveyard: Monday – Friday | 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM


Key Responsibilities

  • Make-Ready & Press Setup: Perform complete make-readies for new production runs, including adjusting feeders, locking up dies, and setting up strippers, blankers, and delivery systems.
  • Heavy Die Handling: Team up with Operators/Leads to safely load heavy dies (weighing up to ~150 lbs) into the press.
  • Quality Assurance & Isolation: Routinely pull and inspect random sheets from cut loads. Identify, flag, and isolate defective materials, making real-time corrections before resuming production.
  • Efficient Press Operations: Run the press at optimal speeds while maintaining strict quality and waste controls.
  • Material Verification & Load Handling: Verify all incoming materials against job tickets and safely transport cut loads from the press using a pallet jack.
  • Production Tracking: Keep accurate, detailed records of production output, waste, setup time, and downtime.
  • Workplace Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in compliance with facility standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Hands-on experience operating BOBST 76 and/or BOBST Expert Cut 106 die-cutting presses (or equivalent high-speed automatic die-cutters).
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and a sharp eye for visual defects.
  • Ability to lift heavy dies (150+ lbs assisted) and physically perform setup duties.
  • High commitment to quality control, safety protocols, and continuous process improvement.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and clear written/verbal communication skills.
