Job description

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator (3rd Shift) to join our team in Reno, NV! The rate for this position is $22.73 plus $1 shift differential per hour.
The core hours are Monday through Friday from 10 pm - 6:30 am. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

What you'll do:
  • Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses.
  • Troubleshoot various machinery problems.
  • Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders.
  • QC and document all parts run on machines.
  • Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system.
  • Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production.
  • Keep work areas clean and safe.
  • Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Six (6) months + of experience with forming or bending machines.
  • Six (6) months + of experience reading drawings or blueprints.
  • Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.

Skills:
  • Ability to operate machinery and presses safely.
  • Ability to read, accurately interpret, and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Ability to identify different gauges and types of raw material.
  • Ability to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers.
  • Ability to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to stand on feet continuously during working shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
