Job description

Michigan Automotive Compressor, Inc. (MACI), is a world-class manufacturer of air conditioning compressors and magnetic clutches. We are filling positions in these departments:

  • Die Cast, Cast - Responsible for the operation of Aluminum die cast machines and melt furnaces. Requires knowledge of production operations and quality systems. Requires the ability to follow standardized work procedures and detect abnormalities in process. Reports to the Die Cast Casting Team Leader.
  • Die Cast Finishing - Responsible for the finishing operations on Aluminum die cast components. Requires knowledge of production operations and quality systems. Requires the ability to follow standardized work procedures and detect abnormalities in the process. Reports to the Die Cast Finishing Team Leader.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required for internal hire (not required for temporary employees)
  • Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • Pass basic math, reading and dexterity testing
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Pass a drug screen
  • Pass a background check
  • Physical demands and abilities may include:
  • Regularly lift 35 pounds
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks

MACI Schedule:

  • Full-time - minimum 5 days a week, weekends possible
